Job Description

By providing wireless operators with fully-managed tower sites on a leased basis, we deliver the highest levels of QOS and the vast coverage that our customers need to grow robust and efficient networks. 
In a bid to continue our exceptional quality delivery, we seek to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill this position

Academic and Professional qualifications:
  • HND/BSC in the field of Engineering
  • Additional qualification is required
  • Members of any professional body

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:
  • Incumbent should have 8 years experience in Engineering and 5 years in Telecommunication industry.
  • Incumbent should know the principle and operation of all operational facilities, troubleshooting.
  • Incumbent should have the ability to plan, organize and coordinate regional team for better performance.
  • Incumbent should be capable to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
  • Incumbent must have leadership skills.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
  • Ensure that 99.9% power supply target is achieved and maintained at requisite quality
  • Evaluate and review regional sites maintenance processes and implementation towards improvement and achieving customer SLA and uptime target.
  • Monitor staff performance, recommend training and implement skill alignment where required.
  • Manage all sites operations and maintenance with available resource creating a balance not compromising quality.
  • Monitor and drive OPEX reduction within the region – through qualitative management of PHCN facilities to reduce diesel and generator maintenance costs.
  • Review region’s weekly sites/Opex reports, implement action where required and provide summary and closure reports to line manager.
  • Manage internal and external customer relationship towards smooth operation of the sites.
  • Perform unscheduled and scheduled sites visits across region to check compliance, monitor performance and initiate corrective measure where necessary.
  • Implement Total quality management of all site operations and maintenance activities.
